Join our dynamic Production Team as a Utility 1 Worker! In this role, you will be responsible for various bakery manufacturing activities in a fast-paced environment. You will work as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in different work assignments, including but not limited to Pan Setter, Feeder, Packer/Carton, Packer/Cases, Shipping Stacker, Handler, Sanitor, Receiver, and Palletizer. This role requires adherence to both written and verbal instructions, as well as maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.

• Assist on one (1) production line in various roles, such as Helper, Indexer, Feeder, Packer, and Catcher.
• Perform manual labor tasks including grasping, lifting, moving, placing, and stacking production items.
• Feed and monitor the continuous production line.
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure product quality and quantity.
• Support quality control programs to uphold food safety and quality standards.
• Report any equipment issues to the supervisor or manager immediately.
• Follow all safety procedures and lockout/tagout protocols where applicable.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with GMP standards.
• Assist in cleaning and sanitization of equipment and the work area before and after production.
• Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude with coworkers and clients.
• Comply with all food safety and sanitation policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

All necessary tools and equipment will be provided and maintained by the employer at no cost to the employee. These items must remain on the premises.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.

• Previous safety training preferred.
• Experience in the food industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with bakery equipment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk and hear.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• May need to push and pull heavy carts and equipment up to 800 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• May require certification for certain equipment.

This is a full-time position requiring flexibility in scheduling. Night shifts are required.
